Divine Grace is the mysterious cause of awakening; and of the subsequent awakenings that occur in our continuing spiritual evolution. Divine Grace causes the transition from one stage to the next. Because awakenings occur beyond the mind, Divine Grace can cause an awakening or a shift in us without our fully realizing it at first. The mind often has to catch up with the state of our awakening to recognize a shift has occurred; and to be able to reflect that awakening.
We cannot control when Divine Grace will bless us with the next transition, but we can “attract” Divine Grace through our persistence in spiritual practice and being in the company of spiritually evolved people. This prepares us to receive Divine Grace.
Divine Grace helps those who help themselves. When we are ready, Divine Grace comes to call.
